A desktop companion for Windows

Reminders, delivered by your favourite characters.

A little character lives in the corner of your screen. Tell it what to remember, and it pops up to remind you, right on time.

  • Talk or type
  • Warns you before
  • Lives on your PC

How it works

Three steps. No manual.

If you can send a voice note, you can use Reminder. There's nothing to learn and no forms to fill in.

  1. 01

Click your character and say it

Talk like you would to a friend. Rather type? That works too. Words like “tomorrow”, “next Friday” or “in 20 minutes” are all fine.

  2. 02

    Check what it understood

Your character shows you the reminder it heard, with the exact day and time. One click to confirm. Nothing is saved until you say so.

  3. 03

It taps you on the shoulder

A friendly heads-up 15 minutes before, another at 1 minute, and once more when it's time. Snooze it or tick it off.

Characters

Pick who reminds you.

Every character brings their own way of saying it. Hover over one to hear from them, or tap to send them to the desktop above.

Or bring your own.

Upload any picture with a see-through background (a PNG) and it becomes your character. Add a second picture with its eyes closed and it will even blink.

Features

Small app. Big relief.

Understands how you talk

“Lunch with Ali next Friday at 1” just works. No date pickers, no dropdowns. If it isn't sure about a time, it asks you to check.

Heads-up before it happens

Reminders 15 minutes and 1 minute before, then right on time. Change the timings whenever you like.

Talk or type

Click and speak, or type instead. It only listens when you click, never in the background.

One-click snooze

Busy? Snooze for 10 minutes. Done already? Tick it off and it stops reminding you.

Nothing slips by

If your PC was asleep when something was due, it tells you what you missed when you're back.

Never gets in the way

It won't steal your keyboard while you're working, and if your screen is locked it holds the reminder until you're back.

Lives on your PC

Your reminders are saved on your computer, not in someone's cloud. No account, no sign-up.

Make it yours

Small, medium or large speech clouds, any character size, and a calm sky-blue dashboard by day or night.

The dashboard

Everything in one calm place.

Open it from the tray icon to see what's coming up, type a reminder, or change your character.

Questions

Good questions.

Do I need to be good with computers?

No. Install it, and your character appears in the corner of your screen. Click it and talk. That's the whole thing.

Does it listen to me all the time?

Never. The microphone only switches on after you click your character, and a bar shows you it's listening. Click again or press Stop when you're done.

What do I need to run it?

A Windows 10 or 11 PC. A microphone is optional, since you can always type. To understand what you say, it uses a free AI service called Groq. Getting a free key takes about two minutes, and you paste it into Settings once.

Where are my reminders kept?

On your own computer. The words you say or type are sent to the AI service only to work out what and when, and your reminder list never leaves your PC.

What if my PC was off when a reminder was due?

When you're back, your character tells you what you missed, so nothing quietly disappears.

Can I use my own character?

Yes. In Settings, upload any PNG picture with a transparent background. Your pet, your favourite hero, your own drawing: anything works.

Does it work on Mac?

Not yet. Reminder is Windows only for now.

Never forget the little things.

Free for Windows 10 & 11. Set up in about two minutes.
